How do I tap into the rear brake light wires?

Just as the title asks, I'm wondering how I would tap into the wires running to the break lights? I'm looking at mounting an LED light setup in my rear window (right above/near the amp(?)) and I'm wondering how I would tap into that wire from there. I just need the thing to light up when I hit the brakes, but I have no idea how I'd go about doing this. Would an auto-mechanic shop do something like this?

^^ Haha that would be great. I was really hoping there would be some kinda light that I could attach something to the brake pedal and then when I hit it, it would just wirelessly light up the rear light. No luck though, somehow I figured it wouldn't exist tho :P

since there is already a brake light in the car it's just a matter of finding the 2 wires that run up to the existing brake light, and either re-directing or tapping-into them. that's it. shouldn't be too hard of a project. the wiring that runs to the light now, will likely be surrounded in some kind of plastic jacket that would need to be cut back a little, and then the 2 wires within, will be exposed. Done. No? :)
