Unhappy Parking brake error

Good day, can anyone tell me where to find the parking brake wire in my DX so that i can run some aftermarket screens. Tried looking to see if any wires was actually attached to the lever but cant find any.. Please help

I lifted up the cover and looked but i cant see any wire attached to the brake lever whatsoever

Install Guide: TWM Short Shift Kit 2006+ Honda Civic / Civic Si
use this DIY and remove the entire center console. im sure that there has to be a wire attached to it.

well thank mate... i found the wire that i was looking for. Without your help id still be looking at a blue screen

Ok next question, now that ive found the wire. Is there any way to bypass the parking brake wire so that my screen will still play? Ive read another thread that says you can just ground the two wires to negative chassi. How correct is this or is there another suitable solution?

it depends what unit you are using. alot of them you can just ground the wire that is supposed to go to the parking brake.
if your using a pioneer unit...this site will help

Dude your like totally awesome. I grounded it to the body behind the console and it worked like a charm.. Again thank for the help.
