use this DIY and remove the entire center console. im sure that there has to be a wire attached to it. |

Ok next question, now that ive found the wire. Is there any way to bypass the parking brake wire so that my screen will still play? Ive read another thread that says you can just ground the two wires to negative chassi. How correct is this or is there another suitable solution?

it depends what unit you are using. alot of them you can just ground the wire that is supposed to go to the parking brake.
