How To: Run power wire 2007 Civic Si Sedan
Credit goes to Bunk454, I just wanted to add pictures and some tips.
Starting in the engine compartment, open the hood look at the drivers side fender. You will see a black plastic piece that runs along the inside of the fender, which is secured by three of those plastic push snaps. Start by popping them out with a screwdriver, then remove said plastic piece. Turn the wheels all the way to the right. Pop out all the snaps on the fender liner for the front driver side wheel. You will see the grommet below the hood release wire. Push it through into the car. ![]() ![]() Get in the car and look up behind the fuse panel. You will see the plug laying there. ![]() ![]() You can use any gauge wire you want. I chose 4awg. Drill a hole in the grommet to accommodate your wire. ![]() ![]() ![]() Put the plug back in, and feed some wire through it. ![]() Look in the fender liner, and pull however much wire needed. ![]() ![]() Then run it to the rear however you like! |
