Clifford Alarm Systems

i just bought a clifford alarm system and remote start
and for the newer civics they had to get a bypass mod so i can use the clifford system

after installation they said bring your other key bec the other is in the mod.

at first i over looked it
i asked the guys the guys who installed it and said the key is in the mod and they need that key to fake the remot start....

i'm not sure of this, but is this true with remote starts.
i just feel weird.
wheres my key??

the key needs to be included in the installation because without the transponder inside the key the car will not remote start
