aux feature fror australian civic

i have a australian civic 4dr, i am after the cable from the back of the deck(auxin) to the bottom of the gear shift so the american aux jack accessory will work, the australian civic do not have this installed at the factory and its $500 for something similar in australia, can anybody help? cheers

dx? Lx? Ex? What's the model of the stereo? (there should be a number on the Radio dash cover)
Have you taken the centre console out to check to see if the aux connector is there? (taped to , or tucked up behnd the lighter?)

There are a few DIY on the board explaining the procedure too.
