When i blew a fuse that caused the power locks to stop working it was one of the underhood fuses.

The power locks worked when the car was on, but when the car was off neither the remote nor the button on the door would function.

i forget what the fuse under the hood was labeled as, but it had nothing to do with the locks or the radio. Made it very tricky to track down.

Bingo. Reverse light fuse under the hood.
