Routing power cable through firewall???

Hi all,

Anyone have an easy way to run 4 ga power wire from the battery through the firewall on an Si?
I read the DIY in the sticky, which indicates there is a plug above the accelerator, but it doesn't appear to be an Si. I checked mine, and while I have a hole in the padding, there is NOT any removable plug in the metal.

I'd rather not drill unless I have to.
What did you guys do?

Thanks in advance.

How to get power to the trunk

this has a few options. In the first link is the hole by the pedal, then others later in the thread people mention other methods.

I haven't built a system for any of my cars in about seven years. I am stoked.
Running the power wire has always been the most challenging part of the installation.

I've been thinking about running it through a metalic conduit and grounding the conduit. I've done that to signal cables to keep out interference.
