Exclamation Factory Amp and AVN6610

So i brought my car to get the an AVN 6610 installed in it. i get a phone call from the installer stating that they cannot figure out how to power up the factory amp with the new unit. they bypassed the amp for a temporary solution. does anyone know how offhand how to get power to the factory amp. i did a search and about 1000 threads came up. i cant seem to find what i am looking for. please help!!!!!

I had my 6600 installed and ran into the same problem. My solution was to tell them 'screw it' and I'm getting amps and new speakers.

Are you worried about the subwoofer not working? The 6610 will power your speakers just fine by itself. My stock speakers actually sound better IMHO with the head unit only. I miss my sub, but that will all be taken care of in due time. :)
