Upgrade audio in my '06

So I'm trying to build up the audio system in my car before i do anything else. I already got alpine type S speakers in the door, i don't really know anything else about them besides that. I got JL 10w3v2 wired at 4 ohms with a JL 300/2 amp, so I figure that's good for a start. But what i need help with is, speakers for the rear and the front if they're no good, cd player (I want to go with a Pioneer DEH-P6900UB), tweeters, and if i need an equalizer or not, amp for the speakers, and possibly the tweeters? If anyone can help me out that would be great, i'm not too good with this stuff, but i have no problem wiring and putting it all together. thanks dave

Forget about Pioneer, compare it to Panasonic MXE CQ-C9801U or Alpine CDA 9885, choose one of them and you will never regret that !

I look at the driver's side carpet when running my power wire (1/0ga) and it looks really tight in there. I could barely run anything under the plastic door trim.

I would suggest doing Alpine Type R 6-1/2" 2-Way Component Speakers in the front and the Type R 2-Way Speakers in the back with an Infinity Reference Series REF7541A 4-Channel MOSFET Amp. With an Alpine Head Unit, like a CDA-9856 or if you like screen savers the CDA-9857. I prefer Alpine over Pioneer, but one of the Big Pros for Pioneer over Alpine is that I find them a lot easier to use in terms of adjusting your speakers, the menus are very simple

The 2006 Alpine H/U's are garbage IMO. I had the 9856 and hated it's screen and it's lack of EQ. I changed to the Pioneer 7800 and love it.

The 7800 is a really nice HU...has a lot of nice features....You can even go as far as adding vehicle dynamics.

The Vehicle dynamics aren't really that accurate but it's neat nonetheless.

so pretty much i'm broke after this accident, i need a new control arm cause he toed in my wheel 2 degrees. so my friend gave me his old pioneer cd player is a DEH-P4600MP. the only thing is it only has two line outs, front and rear, there is no non fading sub line. does it really matter to have a non fading sub? and could i possibly split the rear out so i can hook up the amplifier for speakers?
