All I know that Navi and XM package is an additional $1750 (MSRP) for EX's... I haven't looked into fancy packages b/c I went w/ a dash-mounted, portable GPS!

P.S. I know you can get an aftermarket cheaper, but OEM is the way to go.

^^^ Yeah, it has quite a few features, even though the screen's not as big and there's no voice activation stuff, but I saved lotsa money for other mods, plus I can take it w/ me for hiking, etc. If I *were* to get a Nav system, I'd probably want one that could also play DVDs and such.

Yea, the form and fit with OEM is 100%. You'll never get that with aftermarket. The only thing aftermarket can do to justify the purchase is, DVD playback, good i-pod interfaces, and bluetooth

I've read on this forum that adding the OEM nav to a non-nav civic is not plug and play - there's extra wiring to be done, and you don't have the xtra button on the steering wheel for the voice prompt.

I'm going aftermarket with the pioneer AVIC-D3. Improvements over the OEM system include better sound quality (imo), DVD playback, navtraffic, reverse cam, vehicle dynamics, better ipod interface. It costs much less than the OEM option too.

If I were to get Navi in the Si, I would never get the OEM unit. There's major things the OEM unit doesn't have for that price that makes it easy to just get an aftermarket one. If done right, an aftermarket one can fit just as right.
