^^^ Yeah, it has quite a few features, even though the screen's not as big and there's no voice activation stuff, but I saved lotsa money for other mods, plus I can take it w/ me for hiking, etc. If I *were* to get a Nav system, I'd probably want one that could also play DVDs and such.

I've read on this forum that adding the OEM nav to a non-nav civic is not plug and play - there's extra wiring to be done, and you don't have the xtra button on the steering wheel for the voice prompt.
I'm going aftermarket with the pioneer AVIC-D3. Improvements over the OEM system include better sound quality (imo), DVD playback, navtraffic, reverse cam, vehicle dynamics, better ipod interface. It costs much less than the OEM option too. |
