Navi problem during the day

This might have been answered, hope its not a repost.

I've done something to my Navi and can't fix it.

During the day, I can barely see the screen. I've adjusted the contrast and bright control all the way using setup.

When I put it on nighttime, or auto, I can't even see it during the day. The only way I can see the screen is if its on daytime.

Nighttime is no problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

BTW, when I first got the car I could see it during the day without a problem.

Hold down the dim button for increasing the DIM and the radio should brighten up. :)

I drive with my lights on all the time and at night, the dash lights and Navi screen is way too bright. I just hit the DIM down two times and they both go down. In the day, I just hold down the up DIM and it brightens them back up. I think my setting on the Navi is auto.

I hope this helps...

Thanks, I think I got it.

I went into setup and put it on "auto"

Then went to the brightness/dim button and noticed it was way down when in auto. Sure enough, when I advanced it, everything brightened up nice.

I'm pretty sure that took care of it.

Thanks again,

augydog
