its all put on hold for the time being... its in the car but doesnt look the best... im buying a SI within the month so i dont want to do to much work onto the EX until i get the SI so i dont have to redo...
AS soon as it is done i will take pics.. the PC is in the trunk, NO PROBLEMS in winter... cold didnt really affect it.. and it was all the way to -5 degrees so far summer has only gotten to 91 and i have no had any problems... the fans are kicking strong and keep it cool... :-) there are some photos someplace of my box and such... ill see if i can find them |

One Question..
So lets say you'll spend around $800 with the setup (computer + screen + time + etc).. You could probably buy a DVD+NAV touchscreen (Pioneer).. for around this price.. What are the differences? I mean.. What are the PRO's about the CARPC? I registered @ mp3cars.com and am reading some stuff.. but still can't figure it out.. Thanks |

well... i got internet... which is really nice... i can pull weather, news, traffic, traffic cams... and gas prices and much more! i also got games for passangers... i can store videos, music, whatever else in my car.. my phone connects to it.. i know some HU's do that now... Navi is cheaper for these... like i used to have a kenwood DDX7017... the navi for that costed around 500... this, the reciever was about 52..

How are you powering on? Startup controller? I did one of these in my Stang with a laptop (no docking station... made it a pain in the ass) and I think it was more trouble than it was worth. For the price, I think the newer double dins are the way to go.
