MusicLink issues

I had the music link installed right at the dealership and I love it! Only malfunction is that it sometimes skips... Like a dirty cd or something. Just wondering is anyone has had this problem with theirs.

Actually, I think you're the only one who likes their MusicLink.

I've had problems with mine skipping at the beginning of the song as well as it adding a horrible crackling noise to my tweeters on some songs.

I have the musiclink and I hate it. The shuffle feature doesn't work, like when you put it to disk 6 option. Then I started using the ipod outside of the car and I noticed that it doesn't have the suffle feature on it anymore. So I called up apple and the gentleman that I spoke to said that a lot of people are having issues with this thing. So i asked him what are they going to do about it, since it does have the apple name on it. He told me that I should have never purchased it in the first place. In the end my Ipod doesn't work anymore and to get it fixed I have to pay 50 bucks to ship it to them and then pay for the service.

LESSON LEARNED HERE: I gave apple another shot after my bad experiences with there comps. back in the day. AND NOW I KNOW STAY AWAY FROM APPLE GO WITH ANOTHER COMPUTER AS WELL AS MP3 PLAYER. so that zune thingy here i come.

all you have to do is clean your music file. just take out the mp3 and blow on it like you did with the old nes games. Try that. haha

So, your mad at Apple because you used a 3rd Party device with their MP3 player and broke it? Sounds like you actually need to talk to Honda since it is actually put out by them. If their product messed up your ipod, sounds like they should pay for the repairs on that as well.

btw, have you tried just reformatting the ipod back to factory? I would try connecting the ipod to itunes and resetting the unit back to factory. Also make sure it has the latest software installed. good luck

Eric

The search feature is ok, did all of ya'll install the honda tts on your comp too? I havent had a prob just the skipping, no cracking or anything. The dealership already replaced the musiclink, now they're going to give me a whole new stereo.. Hope it works..
