Navi Question

I have try search so sorry if this is a repeat question.

Is the Navi on the Si free for life? or do we need to pay monthly subcription or something?

I need to know to see if it worth to get an SI with Navi or just getting the regular SI. What do you guys think? With Navi or without Navi?

Yes, the Navi is free. The navigation is just a computer program. You'll have to pay for a satellite radio subscription and NavTraffic, however (if NavTraffic is supported with the OEM Nav).

If you can find an Si with Navi, I'd say purchase it. But only if you'd actually use it. It sounds like you'd get your money's worth out of it though.

yea. thank for the info. Because back then I heard the factory Navi from other car you have to pay. Now that I know is free I guess the goal is to find it. The Navi does look nice in the car.

Sorry but NavTraffic isn't supported by the OEM NAV, at least it's free except for the yearly updated DVDs for about ~$180.

Didn't think it was. My D1 was NT capable.

There is no service fee, and I own two Navi in the Civic and Ody. It is better than the external Navi. If you live in the established city streets, you should not have to update the Navi disk. If you live in the new developed area, you might need to update the Navi disk to get the updated streets.

You'll enjoy the Navi:

MSRP is basic in just about all states, with all Si trims.
