Question XM Radio

I've got a question about an XM radio. My Girls company is parnther with XM. She has the option of getting an "RoadyXT" for free along with 1 months free subscription if you buy two. It sounds like a good deal to me. Just curious if the "RoadyXT" will work with my factory head unit. I've heard our cars aren't exactly XM ready. If this is something I can just PnP then I;m all for it. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance and Happy Holidays to Everyone.

I have the Roady and its great. just plug it in through the AUX jack or it also has a FM Modulator with it to so you can use a radio channel or through a tape deck

Yes our cars are XM ready, but you need to buy a satellite receiver in order to receive reception. Roadys have the tuner and receiver all in one.

Thats a nice looking Roady. I guess since I have no need for one, I havent looked at them in ages. Can you change the display color like you use to be able to?
