indash navigation models

well I may be getting an SI without factory navi...disappointing

but i want to see what "decent" models there are out there

my requirements are

-ability to watch dvd's while using the navigation

-decent headunit speaker output

-touch screen

-voice feedback

I think Z1 is out of my price range(after paying taxes AGAIN! and new tags)

something like under $1000 would be great!

You can get the new Pioneer AVIC-N3 (flip screen)
http://www.etronics.com/product.asp?stk_code=pioavicn3
Or you can go with the pioneer AVIC-D2 (Double Din) and get a seperate dvd player.

There are always Clarion, Alpine, and JVC

would recommend any of these if you want good picture quality from your dvd's

You can always look on ebay if you want cheap prices

I'm sorry - but this is a serious issue to me:

WHY DO PEOPLE THINK THAT IT IS OKAY TO WATCH MOVIES WHILE DRIVING?!

For me: Cali stop and go traffic. Can really help you cope with the time, and since most of the time you are either at a stand still or going 5 mph I see little risk in it.

Other times I just relay the signal to rear so the kids can watch videos and not kill each other.
