Sound stream DVD/CD 2 din NO SOUND!!!!

hi guys i am in the middle of install this soundstream and i tried and RCA method from whiterice. then i connected everything now i am wondering why no sound...

i went and took out the rca and connected it straight to the wires of the head unite and still no sound. i am pretty confused and frustrated. Can someone please give me some advice.... I know its something to do with Amp no coming on. i just need some help thxsss

i not really sure what your problem is but at the end u said your amp was not coming on ..u mean an aftermarket amp probally..if its not coming on check with a multi meter the power then the remote on then the ground on the amp make sure all those wires are connected.

got it thxss.... everything works but now i get a buzzing sound when lights are on

Without having a more clear explanation of how everything is wired, it's hard to say what might be causing the noise, but you might want to start by looking at your amps grounding point. Make sure it's very solid, paint is ground away to bare metal etc. You could also try grounding it at a different spot to see if that helps with the noise.

Bump for this, Im having the same problem as the OP...All of my wires are fine and power is going where it needs to be..

This might help it might not, but my friend had this same problem and he had the RCA's going to either the input on the deck (should be output) or the output on the amp (should be input).....
