I was wondering if i could smooth out the torque dip before vtec or is this really the best it can do?

When is your vtec set to crossover? What rpm?

vtec set at low 4050 high 5800

Ussually for those mods lower vtec is at 4500 rpm. You might have it too low.

We try vtec as high as 5300 but finally settle down at 4050. I was running a map off flashprotuning website where vtec was set at 4000.

4000 is too low for your setup. Try 4300.
