Well, if Scion's could sell the volume that Honda's sell, let alone civic, Honda might put some effort into competing a little more directly. Plus Honda is still seen as a very fresh brand, where Toyota seems like more of a middle aged car purchase.
Also, I wonder if there would be a way to increase fuel economy without killing all the power like in a Geo. Would a good performance filter do the trick, or are those things over rated? |

some aftermarket filters can give you an increase of 5% or so on your mpg. The only problem is that most people like the way the new filters sound and end up revving their engines up higher and harder lol. Hey, it already gets better mpg than the 7thgen, and it's a larger engine.
