waiting for the new music link to come out. working at a honda dealer I saw way too many problems popping up before, the only reason why i didnt get one. There are other car and audio companies that have no problem and a much better UI. Honda just needs to try a little harder with this next version...

handaaccessories.com has a different non-OEM accessory that they're endorsing right now. I don't think that it displays iPod info on the LCD though.

"Factory radio can control some iPod functions while connected. See owners manual link below for specifics"

I tried searching for Honda Music Link on the Honda website and one of the search results that I found said that it would be released "Winter 2007".

I have personally called Honda and spoke to a person called Lisa Park - according to her the Music Link has been discontinued for good . . . no further development going on regarding the ipod link for our Honda . . . Still cannot believe her but she insists that's the last of it as it just did not work as expectedly . . .
Anyone else can confirm this?

^^^I fail to believe that. If the other automakers can do it -- especially the flunkies of Ford, Honda can do it.

College Hills Honda Podcast says that they will be coming out with a new one, and it won't include software this time. It's podcast 16-17 I think.

FYI: There is now a new version of Honda TTS, so I find it hard to believe that they entirely "Discontinued" it. The first version was 1.1(number-wise), then 1.3(the itunes 7 patch), and now they have 1.5. which I updated to, and fixes any TTS problems. Notice that 1.1 and 1.3 are now gone from the download section.
