Idk I have mix feelings. Can't decide if I like it or not. I like the back, kinda of g35ish. The front looks a little cheap, from the concept pics that I've seen not the spy pics. Overall this design doesn't look very "Honda".

Has a bit of TL crease on the side too. Do not care for the line at the handle. Origami looking as opposed to Si sulptured by the wind look. I'll pass and the Solara , G35 comments +1.

I think that's kind of the point. From the reading that I've done is seems as if honda is shooting to reinvent itself the same way it did in the 90's with the nsx release, as well as becoming more than just a company that makes little good on gas cars.

I think honda wants to be known more along the ranks of acura (just more affordable), than just a cheap but good car. I think that's why they released the 8th gens in the design that they did.. to test the waters and see if this new direction was a good one (first civic to have navi, anyone?) . Well, we all know how the sales did of these cars and I bet that sales will increase even more with the release of the new accord. It looks like it will be more upscale, and if that's true and yet it carries the same price tag (like the fg2 with the ep3) then they will have hit the nail on the head.

I look forward to seeing this at dealerships and all the things to come.. especially since with the release of the rdx they're actually using turbo chargers and other things (sh-awd) to make their cars more fun to drive.

Could this be the road that leads to honda's response to the sti & evo? who knows. probably not, but it's fun to think about :P

Other thing to consider for the back is that it's missing hood emblems and other stuff entirely, making it look a lot more plain and sparse than it would be for the production version.

Hard to say, but I like what I see so far. More interested in the sedan though.

It didn't look too good to me the 1st time i saw it. But it's growing on me, i might buy the accord coupe instead of the SI, who knows, we'll see.

I think the rear window is comparable to our front windshield; HUGE!

And keep in mind like what has been said on another Forum....Honda is focusing on providing the most LUXURY as well as Sport when it comes to the amount they are supposed to be Hooking this model accord both 2 and 4dr up with. ( most for ANY vehicle in its price range) and they really want to take that Almost Luxury Buyer away from Toyota that so loves the Solara / Avalon / most widgets for the money type buyer. And that is something that I hope Honda can balance along with maintaining the quality that is so Legendary for the Honda Brand.

We all know that if you put a Camry next to an Accord and pick over the fit and Finish on both...the Accord will win hands down every time....but it lacks that "Damn" feeling and I mean that flashy - almost high dollar look that somehow hypnotizes people who buy Toyota.

Overall......I think this is the year Honda begins to knock Toyo. off of its throne in many different Car types. Toyo. is focusing so much on "Number 1 Automaker for Sales in America"....Ford's old claim to fame.....that the Second-only-to-Honda Legendary quality of that brand is dropping year by year.....sounds very Ford Familiar.

Cant wait for the ride and drive....so i can post REAL pics of THE car!

Chris
