Club Racer-Inspired Honda S2000 CR Prototype to Debut at New York International Auto Show
03/13/2007 - TORRANCE, Calif. -

A new club racer-inspired version of the Honda S2000 will take the legendary vehicle's track-worthy performance to an entirely new level when it makes its world debut at the New York International Auto Show on April 4, 2007 American Honda Motor Co., Inc., announced today. Engineered around the expectations and needs of Honda performance enthusiasts, the S2000 CR will be available as a new trim level when the aggressively-tuned vehicle goes on sale in the fall of 2007.

It's not too bad... Have to see more angles to make final judgements. It could be worse though it could be a Miata!

If they do in fact middle-age this car (i.e. tone it down, clip it's nuts and make it slower / more appealing to the mid-life crisis crowd) that will suck.

I like the yellow S2K below. It is very nice!

It reminds me of the Porsche Boxter and Jaguar XK.

what about that s2000??? nice ride...but it's still a 2 seater and with my 6"5 frame....it's gonna be a little to TIGHt

Anybody else notice the striking similarity between the "2008 S2000" that was posted in R & T, and the Accord-concept that's being shopped around? There's something to be said for keeping brand identity, but if the current S2000 looked anything like the current Accord, I don't think they'd sell nearly as many...if any.

that scan is several months old.

Way before the annoucement about the s2000cr.

I'm sure the cr will retain the looks that the current s2k has. Think of it as a last effort to sell just a few more s2k's before it is remodeled
