Exclamation O2 sensor bypass help please!!

whats up 8th, so i installed a catless vibrant header today on my 08 sedan and after my check enginbe light came on...no i know about the defouler bypass method and i followed this DIY i found online to install it...

DIY O2 Sensor Bypass / Spark Plug Non-Fouler Trick Installation (w/ pics) - Honda Civic Forum

so the package i bought from autozone had 2 18mm nonfoulers so i drilled into one f them (which the DIY said to do) so the O2 sensor would fit into the nonfouler and then connected the second nonfouler to the drilled one...now i thought i followed the DIY correctly but my check engine light came on any way..

so my qestion is did i do something wrong?? did i drill too much or not enough?? anyone have any ideas why the bypass method did not work?? does it work for all headers?? am i missing something??

Flashpro can for sure, so much better, plus fp is a must if you're modding!

Did you happen to drop or smack the sensor against something while you were putting on the defouler? I ask because I had one for over 2 years before disabling it with flashpro and I had no issues.
