I was thinking about this header since I am in California and we have strict exhaust laws. Anyone hook this up to your cars stock cat? How about the gains?
I have a Greddy Ti-C exhaust but I want to keep the stock cat becuase I do not want to deal with the B/S of swapping out cats or anything else. Just want to keep it simple.
very little gain, almost not even worth it. i remember it suppose to gain from 1-3 hp somewhere before on TOV forum. but you'll see a better gain with an Intake and Exhaust along with the CT header.
Staying street legal is the best way to go to keep you out of troubles.
Interesting... I have an AEM CAI also. Yeah, I am curious how this thing would work but I am not just going to spend money on it without knowing how much I will get out of it.
most of the gains a header produces are from deleting the cat. this is especially so with our cars with the excellent design of the factory header. too bad they couldn't have designed the tranny with the same finesse.
I live in virginia and we have emissions etc and I think I will be going with vibrant header with HFC and probably a defouler.
