Velocity Stacks!

Bpi Velocity Stacks are in stock and ready to ship!

That’s right, the REAL, BPi flow stacks. (No knock offs here)

The BPI Flow Stack is a velocity stack designed to optimize volumetric flow rates into your induction system by preventing boundary layer separation at the inlet of your induction system. Both OEM and traditional aftermarket induction systems utilize a filter or filtration system that creates unfavorable geometry that initiates turbulent vortices and eddies at the inlet of your induction system, reducing the effective inlet ID. This turbulent fluid at the inlet is acting like a choke plate on your engine. The BPI Flow Stack takes advantage of the large flanged filter to create a induction system inlet geometry that will eliminate this "choke plate", by preventing the boundary layer separation and resulting turbulence. Each of our Flow Stacks is optimized using CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) Software to run flow simulations and ultimately provide you with a performance product that delivers results.

Nice. So does the base of a cone filter fit directly onto the velocity stack before it is installed onto the tube of a SRI or CAI intake? Would this work with a cone filter and a stock intake tube?

You can mate it to almost any intake system you would like. Most will take a little cutting.

We are actually working on getting what we feel will be the best cone filter for the set up in stock. We should have them in either next week or the week after that.

Basically any cone filter that has a 6inch ID will fit right over the outside of the velocity stack.

^ The instruction sheet under the velocity stack, coupler and hose clamps kind of shows it. Picture a cone filter with this installed on the base of the filter. Go to this link to see a drawing of it: BPi - Performance Velocity Stack

Edit: Jeff or Robby, Amsoil has great air filters and they should have something to work with this. My Amsoil filter has a 6" base and is a dry type of filter. Here is a link to their EA filters: http://www.amsoil.com/storefront/eaau.aspx
