Don't take it to Ed Voyles Honda. The service mgr. said that Honda hasn't released the TSB publicly and they have yet to receive anything from Honda (As of Friday) I told him about the TSB on here and he said if it's from Honda and it's real then it was let out before the release. They said however they are aware of the 3rd gear problem and try to fix all of them that are under warranty.

He said we are the dealer not the internet making up stuff and we don't have it.

I told him I would print it out for him when my right rear shock replacement comes in; he said you do that. LMAO WTF... LOL

I had the 3rd gear wouldn't engage fully, meaning when you lifted off the clutch it popped out ( it couldn't be pushed further it, there was something blocking it)

After this i changed to AMSOIL MTF and it cured the 3rd gear problem, however when i shift at redline from 1-2 , no matter how slowly, it grinds, thats why im getting 2nd gear done.

mine does the same robert. I can tell when it wants to do it. I keep the clutch in but it feels like 3rd doesnt want grab and it wants to push out, so I just force it a little longer with the clutch in.

Mine was fixed about 3 weeks ago or so. It has NOT popped out yet, but the gear is still very notchy. And yes, my second is very notchy too and grinds more than third did.

It's currently in the shop getting that and about a dozen other things (all quality related) done to it.

I'll have it back in a few days I'm sure. Until then, I'm cruising around in a 2008 Chevy Aveo. While it handles like shit and has horrid interior materials, the cabin is quiet as a mouse compared to my Civic. Kinda sad, haha.

ok guys haha another tip that has helped me was to throw the shift into second directly in..some people get excited and just throw really hard into second and it not going in directly so thats why its getting blocked out......next time you are in your car redline in 1st and when you shift to second almost go into 4th gear but dont and try it without throwing it as hard as you can into second because alot of people do that...basically just try and go directly down not any movement in the shifter
