Hey guys, I have an 08' NHBP FA5 and I was wondering if anyone had a problem with rev hang with an 08' in atlanta/kennesaw area? If so, were you able to just take it to a dealer and have them update the ECU? And do you know of a dealer that will update it for me?

Theres not much there going to be able to do about the rev hang. Its one of those things I think everyone has gotten used to. I don't even notice mine anymore.

do they usually update the ECU when you take it to them, like for an oil change? or do they only do it by request?

The '08 already have the update. The dealer wont do a thing for it. There's nothing they can do. The rev hang that's still present isn't going away....sorry to be the bearer of bad news. I too have an '08. They all have rev hang, it's just not as bad as it was before the reflash was available, but all '07 and up have the reflash already.

Get use to it.

yea I went there to ask about it as well and they said sorry the DBW is just very laggy in response to the revs so it will hang, just something you'll have to get used to.

Rev hang is designed to increase fuel economy, ask me how i know that.
