i bet it will cost at least a $1000+ dollars for it for the 06+ civic si. i never look at how much it cost for the K20a2, but i'm assuming it's at least $1000 dollars and up.

uh-oh, for the k20a2 (02-04 rsx-s), it's $500 for an upgrade from a reflash with is $595 or about $995 for just the k-pro. and cost like $1,595 for other stuff too.

i guess the k20z3 k-pro price will be pretty close.

K-Series Programmable ECU

I'm guessing around $1000 also. That's how much K-Pro was all the time...if you ask me its well worth the investment.

If K-pro does come out this summer, how many extra ponies will it put on a Si with Exhaust, Race header, intake, TB, IMG?

Hondata is the company that makes the reflash, k-pro. Reflash is just what it sounds like....a reflash. With K-Pro you can actually tune.

That's pretty much it.

Kpro is where you take your ECU out of your car and send it to Hondata. They weld on a USB port and give you software. You can then control many aspects of your engine via your laptop.

Hondata also makes a reflash. Again you take your ECU out of your car and send it to them. This time, they simply re-program your ECU with a standard program (better than the OEM one from Honda). This can NOT be adjusted as there is no USB port to constantly re-program it with.

The advantage of KPRO over a reflash is that you can fine tune certain aspects of your engine to work best with what mods you may have on your car. With a reflash, everything is set at one level and may not work best with what mods you have.

That's the quick and dirty. I don't have either nor have I ever had either... this is just what I read from the hondata website.
