The saudis are soon going to price themselves out of the oil market. YOU will never see gas 200 a barrel. We are already starting to make gas from oil shall in the US. If prices continue the way they are we will no longer need Saudi's expensive oil as we can make our own for the same price if not a little cheaper.

Oil shale is expensive plus it can't keep up with world wide demand increases.... prices are not going to drop.

Oil companies will surely try to prevent any reduction of profits. So if it's more expensive to blast oil from rock then they will pass that price right on to you and me.

And even if you somehow got the government to charge in and take control of oil production inside the US then OPEC will just reduce its own production in order to keep prices high. The US production of shale will never be enough for even our own domestic demand much less the rest of the world.

Damn it.... I REALLLY should have gotten the Civic instead of G35. Just filled up $67 before my fuel light even came on.

I used to want a motorcycle, but a guy I had auto shop in school with was hit by a mini-van and he was pushed 100 feet in the air during the crash. Needless to say, he lost his life when his head cracked the ground. Poor guy was only 21 and it happened late last year.

He was the best friend of a guy I still talk to so I found out about it. The funeral was a mess and I don't want any of my friends and family dealing with it too.

Just got a tank.. upstate NY price was 4.13$. i think it went up like $.40 in the last two days. I wonder if its price gouging for memorial day.

yeah actually, looking at New York Map Gas Prices - Find the Lowest New York Gas Prices on a Map

The price yesterday at one gas station was 4.09, today its 4.25.
another one was 4.06 and now its 4.13. WTF.
