I mean, people make a huge fuss about their reliability. They are clearly not oblivious to the fact that they are losing some clients to other brands because of that. I am pretty sure that they are addressing the problem any way they can. Now if you plan on leasing the car, then you really don't have THAT much to worry about!

If you want it as bad as you say you do get it! My dream has always been to own a Supra. When I get out of college I would buy one instantly. I would trade my Si in a heart beat for a Supra with loads of miles on it.

I like your outlook on things.

I like yours as well. There's actually 2 cars aside from this that I'd probably trade the Si in for in a heartbeat one is the Acura TL-S the other is a possible future G8GT when and if they get XM standard. I would probably do so for the Infinity G35 but not the Lexus (I'd have to think long and hard on that) or the BMW (Honestly, I'd rather own the Audi).

If this comes out with 2.0T Quattro Manual, it will replace my FA5.

A stasis engineering suspension package, a chip/tune, and I'll be very very happy.

Audis are hot, and i think that the smile that it'll slap on your face every time you see it will be worth the trouble, if any, that you would encounter with reliability, specially if it'll make you that happy!

I honestly didn't think there would be this many people who'd agree that they're hot cars or even that some sacrifice is allowed.

I know this sounds cheesy but this is one of those cars that every time I see one I think, "that's it. That's my car." If I ever deploy again, I plan on taking full advantage of the Military Overseas sales program. I just wish I could find out how much this badboy or a new 328i with the options I want would be.

lol it does sound a bit cheesy but i know what you mean. Its hard to find a car that really makes you say that and it kinda looks like you've found the car. And i honestly think that sacrifice is allowed, but it isn't really sacrifice if your getting the car that suits You. Not going for it would be more of a sacrifice than actually getting it IMO. Depends how you look at it really...

Damn. I have a feeling that if you were local and we were sitting down at Starbucks for coffee talking about this, I'd probably be on my way to San Antonio or Corpus Christi by the time we were finished. lol.

A lot. Makes me sad how a base A4's starting price ($28k?) sounds so inviting, and yet with options can go almost $40k. *sigh*

Audi's current lease offer on the A4 does sound inviting though

Audi of America > Special Offers

I saw that yesterday. That's less than I pay for my SI.

I may get deployed in a few months. I don't want to make a move until it's set in stone. Plus whatever I do it'll probably be towards the end of my deployment should hte gods decide I need to go again.

RS4/RS5 would be nice

My boss has an A4 3.0L.. nice car!

I'd still probably gravitate towards a BMW for a bit of tail wagging fun though

Ive always LOVED Audi's.... they are such sexy machines. If I could afford one right now I'd have one... simple as that

I have a 98' quattro a4 2.8 5-speed for my secondary car with 133k miles on it. Reliability wise it's been pretty good. Nothing major or overly expensive has happened and I drive the piss out of it.
