Whatchu think about these?

I'm kinda waiting around to see what Chevy's gonna come up with exactly for the 2009 Cobalt SS Sedan, but in the meantime I've been looking around. The WRX kinda crossed my mind. Opinions?

I like it, even though this design took a while to grow on me.

I think the last model was alot nicer, actually they've been getting uglier since the new styling. Now the STi is disgusting.

Not a bad car for the price you can get them at. I don't dislike the exterior, but I'm not crazy about it, either. I've read in reviews that it's a little softer than the previous model, but it should still be sufficient for sporty driving. Fuel economy is slightly less than the Si, but I don't know if that matters to you.

All in all, I like it and would consider buying one if I wanted a sporty car that was different than the Si.

as long as there's no altezza style tail lights since companies seem to be into that lately

I as well dont like the route that Subaru is going with their STi's and their regular WRX's... I think they want to shy away from the boy racer mentality that made the past WRX's and especially STi's so popular...

It seems to me that Subaru wanted to go with the smooth lines and lets tone down the wing kinda route...

I hate it... But im one probably in a million...

Looks aside, consider this... the new WRX replaces a vicious rear limited slip differential unit with VDC (vehicle dynamics control) AKA traction control. So if you decide to turn in too quickly, instead of putting more power to the rears, the brakes engage to slow you down.

WRX is dead to me.

I was a HUGE WRX STi fan, HUGE!!! But, getting a used WRX Sti before they came out with the restyling is a big risk unto itself...

Most of these cars were punished and abused, and once the owner is done with it and things start to break on it (Subaru is not known for quality) they get something else...

I would have to say that the STi is dead to me as well... Unless its an older model one, but you wont catch me buying a used one...

Id rather buy a new Evo, but the Evo is more harsh on you than the Sti, now thats a beast!

Wow, it got uglier than the last style form 07, damnit. It looks so boring, looks like a new Chrysler front end that's just missing those ugly ribs they are throwing on all their cars. I see a lot of Kia Spectra in there too.

I used to think the WRX looked good.
