what did you have previously and which one do you find more comfortable? performance wise you aren't going to notice all that much of a difference so it mostly comes down to looks and comfort.

My lil bro has a R6 and loves it. Not tooo big a fan of Honda bikes. Love Yamaha and Suzuki all the way! Not to mention my Dad has a 'Busa.
That is awesome 2fast. I am waiting on getting mine. Too many travel opportunities at the moment. But I will own one!

Seriously, iv had two R6's and now own an R1. The new r6 has no low end power and honestly wont be that fun to ride on the streets. It is soley designed for high end power for race track use. Its power doesnt really come on till around 9000 rpms and must be kept in the higher rpms to take advantage of its power on the race track. Yamaha designed it this way because it was meant to satisfy racers that really know how to ring its neck on the track.
The new CBR on the other hand has way more low end torque and will be much friendlier on the streets for the casual rider. It still ripps on top end and handles awesome too. |

I went and sat on both a CBR600RR and an R6 today. The R6 felt like it had a more aggressive (read: less comforable) riding position and even though it was a light bike, *looked* considerably bulkier from the view of the rider. I've read similar things about the engines too, liquid, so for street use, the choice seems pretty easy to me.
