Yamaha in general makes the best street bikes amongst honda, suzuki, kawasaki

UM NO, Ive been riding Yamahas since i started riding (ive had 2 r6's and now an R1). While the 03-05 r6 was a great street bike, the new modles are designed towards racing. Hence the low torque, high reving r6 and r1. The low torque of the r6 is not good for the street rider. yamaha makes a great race bike these days.

all the new honda, suzuki, and kawasaki 600's have more low end torque than the yamaha r6 making for a much better street bike.

The new R6 has nothing but pure top end pull which can really get a new rider in trouble quick on the streets. Not that all the others cant..........
