F1 rulz!! I've been following F1 since 1980 when Gilles Villenueve, Alan Jones and Keke Rosberg were racing. Spent 15 years in Europe and watched many exciting races. Some not so exciting too unfortunately. The US F1 event is pretty good although the track is lame. The drivers consider one of their least favorite because it's only technically challenging and not emotionally. There will not be another repeat of last years goof up for sure. I went to the '02,'03 and '04 races but missed last year because of a trip I had to make for work. How ironic that it was THE race to miss! Found buyers for my seats too. End of the straight at turn 1 is the best place to see any action. Decelerating from about 220 mph to 40 and a wide passing area make for the most passes in the race. Plus the big screen monitor at the corner allows you to see other parts of the track. Not going this year but best wishes and tons of fun to those who can make it. Get to downtown Indy Saturday for some awesome car shows and good comradery among race fans. Met some Canadians in '04 and told them I was Gilles Villenueve's biggest fan back in the day. They bought me beers the entire night!
