Here it is. Now keep in mind this is Kansas so we don't get nearly as much special stuff here. I loved 'em, though, and this is the first time I've been up close with a P-51. I was like a kid seeing a Ferrari for the first time. All smiles, chills up and down my back, etc. I'd have taken more pictures but I was on lunch break and only had a few minutes to snap 'em, watch them take off, and watch them leave. It was quite a site to see them leaving, and I have some videos of the B-17 I'll be putting on Youtube tonight hopefully!

(This thing wasn't exactly tiny by any means!)

After the B-17 took off I thought that would be the last of it and I started walking out. Nope! I hear a nice little growl and up in the sky it had reversed direction and flew back over the airfield. I had to use all of the zoom (10x optical, 3x digital I think it is) to get this thing into viewing distance!

^ Sweet. I am familiar with "Gunfighter". It belongs to the CAF. Nothing like the sound of a Merlin flying by. Makes every automotive engine pale in comparison.
