Thumbs down bastards drilled my bumper!

went to flip my plates today at the front and found that there is a drill on the top hole right THROUGH MY BUMPER!!!

FAK!! i was soo upset!!

i know someone said they faught it and got it filled but mann i don';t have time to go through that hassle!!

oh well it's a lease anyway but i wanted it to look good for the time i had it!

just make sure if u buy your car from Pickering Honda in Ontario...you gotta tell them now to drill your bumper when they put on the plates

gotta live with it just wanted to vent to you guys ; > i need some TLC! haha

Is it really that hard for dealerships to see it that the front bracket is easily bolted on?

BumperPlugs

Got a set for my IS350. Color match was excellent.

jj71, the color match for your Honda Galaxy Grey Metallic (NH701M) is Stratus Metallic.

Texas Rules

I live here in Texas and my Honda came with a nice little hole in the front for the front license plates...

I know its a law here in Texas for cars to have a front plate, but its not really that enforceable... I pass by lotsa cops on a daily basis and they dont say shite...

Only if im speeding and i get a ticket (which hasnt happened yet) will they say something....

If they did when i got the ticket, they would just tell me to put it on or whatever...

So i just learn to live with the hole...

pretty much every dealer does it, i tell them beforehand, if it's drilled, i wont accept the car. easy as that. dealers are RETARDED.

For reference, you can see the bumper plugs in this picture (two little 'dots' under the grill):

I've actually seen quite a few bumperplugs on Porsche's around town and thought they were just 'part of the car' until I got the link to bumperplugs when looking for a driver's door keyhole plug. They sell those too, but they don't work on the 8th gen.

Hmmm. One bumperplug may look a bit odd. Maybe you can put a red LED in it and make folks wonder what it is...
