downgrading from the Si

all right you guys are gonna think this is weird, but im currently trying to sell my 2006 Si that i bought a month ago in order to buy either a eg hatch, a 180sx type II or a bug eye wrx. The Si was cool and all but honestly i didnt really like driving it, i worried too much about scratching it and it took away from he fun. i also realized that as an 18 y/o going to college in denver i dont deserve the Si and i dont want to have to deal with it there.

first off, the Si is a professionally restored salvage car so ive got a limited number of places i can sell it. i DO NOT want to hear bullshit about how i shouldnt have bought the salvage car, because i already know it and dont need it repeated. does anyone have any CONSTRUCTIVE ideas on how and where to sell the car? my current ideas are local classifieds, modified car trader and ebay.

and second what are your guys opinons on my choice of cars (eg, 180sx an bugeye wrx)? i chose these cars on the basis that i want a car that is not put together perfectly and will need some work so i can learn how to work on it. also, all these cars look good really low to the ground, which i like. and i want a car that doesnt look flashy and expensive like the si.

craigslist would also be a great starting point along with Ebay. Just make SURE you state it's a salvage car.

I own an eg hatch that I have put WAAAAAYYY too much time and money into.

I'm alot more concerned about getting a door ding in that than my ep3. Eg hatches are VERY high for theft in my area and are getting harder to find in decent, non riced out conditions.

Honestly man, sell the si, get a ragged out beater car that's reliable, then once you graduate get a nice car. College parking lots tend to be unfriendly...

Thats a weird reason to get rid of the Si...I don't know what to say. Goodluck.

I feel ya OP.

I'm alway constantly worry about my FG2. Worry about my rims getting scratch when I make my those narrow turns inside a parking garage.

Worry about people dinging my car since we have to park so close.

There are many times I told myself I wish I got another beater. Perhaps a DC2.

I would list Craigslist first and do ebay later since ebay listing fees just keeps going higher and higher. Or you can wait till ebay has those special promotion sales where listing fees are .01 cent.
