Fark. Not cool. Is that north Texas. Please tell me it's not near the Valley or San Antonio. Sorry man. I'm sorry for your loss but I stress over this car enough.

No. Only on a tow truck. That sucks massively. I hope you get enough $ from insurance to get a kicka** 350Z or Evo or something.

The immobilizer is not the end all for thieves.

I've had someone get into my car, decode the immobilizer with a transponder, and start my car in under 90 seconds. Don't worry, I work for an insurance company and I let the SIU guy do it, because I didn't believe it myself. Also, did you know these transponders can be purchased on ebay? Of course, they are not sold as transponders.

Secondly, those with LoJack, it really doesnt do anything. The device is usually only placed in a few places, and takes seconds to detach. Once it's off, good luck tracking down the stolen car.

Sure, newer cars are more difficult to steal for a common theif, but still can be relatively easily stolen by a knowledgable person.

Just food for thought
