Just saw your videos. It must be frustrating for you. Circuit City messes up your car then they don't take responsibility for it, and expect you to drive around in that. You should definitely take some legal action and sue Circuit City. They should be paying for the damages in your car.

![]() Nice Mugen kit. Your car is rad! The JDM and CDM headlights look so fresh. Nice work. I was at risk of a car fire due to the wiring and installation done by Circuit City. Honda will not let my car leave the shop because of the damage done to my car. I asked Chris, the Service Manager at North Shore Honda why I could not drive it. He told me that Honda would be at risk for letting a car out on the road knowing that improper wiring was inside the car. I am upset that Circuit City not only did the work and let me drive the car but now they will not respond to my calls. Circuit City has asked me to stop calling them and direct all calls to Specialty Risk Services, Circuit City’s 3rd party insurance agency. Circuit City put me and my passengers at risk but now they are walking away. I spoke to a high level Circuit City representative Friday. She told me that it was out of Circuit City’s control and that Circuit City can do nothing to help. It simply amazes me. I fell totally beaten right now. My brand new FA5 was ruined and now I can't drive it. I just got my American Honda Finance bill today. I have to cut a check for a car I can't drive. ![]() Last edited by VTECnical; 03-29-2008 at 07:45 PM. |

VTECnical:
I'm submitting this to the Consumerist blog as a head's-up. Please submit this story to them ASAP as they are a major consumer issues blog and they HATE Circuit City. The Consumerist: Shoppers Bite Back You need exposure (like the ///M3 eBay story last week that was resolved to the customer's satisfaction) and it would also behoove you to lawyer up. However, that's your call. Do not give up, do not settle, and do not accept intimidation and "we're not responsible" as an answer. They are responsible, it's just going to take some persuasion to get them to do the right thing. The internet is your friend...use it! Barry Last edited by theslik1; 03-29-2008 at 09:15 PM. I still am bowled over they could have done that much damage. Whatever they damaged, they certainly can pay for.
They definitely did a shoddy job and now news of it is being spread pretty far and wide. Just look at the LinkBacks to this page. ![]() Interestingly my best friend's brother works, or used to work (I forget if he is still there) at their Corporate HQ in loss Prevention. They're actually a few hundred yards from where I work. You might want to get your money out of them quick. No telling how much longer they will be around. To all visiting from other forums. Nice of ya to drop by. Last edited by Gonzo; 03-30-2008 at 12:44 AM. |
