Which is better

My lil bro is lookin for a car but can only spend 14500-16000 dollars he really likes the 2004-2006 Lancer OZ RALLY or Ralliart. But he also likes the 2006 Kia Spectra SX personally i like the Lancer i was wondering what you guys think. He hates the 8th gen civic because he doesnt like the front end so that's outta the question.

What? The front end? That's the hottest part of the car! I love the front end!

Mazda3 base 4 door seems pretty nice? I'm not sure the price on it though.

Also, have him look at some American compacts, they aren't as bad as everyone makes them out to be.

Kia

A neighbor of mine has a 06 Kia Spectra.
I sat in it with the engine running , it seems like a nice little ECONOMY
car . Not a bad looking little car. She's very happy with it, and the gas
milage .

This Car and Driver article might help your brother out a little. It compares 7 subcompacts in the $15K range. Click on the car links under "Featured in this Comparison" to see how each one fared and where C&D ranks them in the comparison test.

yea i know....but u gotta think, it's his little bro, you would want him in a SAFE, RELIABLE car. like a honda fit! plus it would be new, not used. Not to many around yet so he would get alot of attention and it would be a great way to start modding. Good gas mileage and good insurance pricing. Plus you wouldn't worry about him doing 100+ mph on a back road with it.

My lil bro drives a SRT-4, i swear he's gonna kill himself, im hoping it breaks down and he's forced to get something else. At least something safer like an SI
