Wiring DRL's to run while headlights are on

I posted this a while back but still have not been able to figure this out. Any suggestions? Hopefully with the amount of new members since I last posted this question, soemone can figure this out.

I'm basically trying to wire the DRL's to run while the headlights are on.

I've seen a lot of new TL's with Both of their lights on. I don't know if the Highbeam changes to become a fog lamp or what(bi-xenon's are same theory)

That'd be pretty cool if you had like a 6000K KID kit in the regular headlights and then orange or hyper white lights in the DRL location to accent the lights.

The DRL's are seperate from the high beams. My DRL's are not working but my high beams still work. So basically they have less power going to them in the DRL mode . The output wouldnt be enough to blind people since the beam is omni directional pretty much it would just accent the headlights..

you can do this.
I have 6000K HIDs, all you do is turn on your high beam and your DRL's will come on alongside your headlights.

Since my HIDs are already pretty much highbeam, turning it on will only turn on the DRL's and give the look that your going for.

Other than that, I have no idea how to wire them haha.

^ personal preference maybe?
but come to think of it...
with HIDs on and with your DRL's a hyper white, you probably wouldnt even notice cause your blinded by the HIDs in the first place

BUT, thats again your opinion haha

Personal preferance dude. To each his own.

Anyways, like i said, i like the way TLs have both the headlight and DRL when the headlights are on.

I may not even get HIDs, just stick to my silverstars, but have orange DRLs. Similar to the DC5 JDM headlamps.

That's a good thought, but I want to keep the low wattage on the high beams for the DRLs and still keep the functionality of the high beams in case I don't go with HIDs.

Acutally the TL doesn't have DRL...at least in the US. The foglight is built into the headlight housing. So, that is what you are seeing. I have a 2005 TL.

Nice. I think the TLs are the cleanest looking cars on the street. Love the lines and interior. What color exbauer? pics?
