Buy a colorado extreme or civic si?

I'm debating on whether to purchase a chevy colorado extreme truck or a civic si... I love both vehicles but am having a hard time deciding. I'm 23 years old so i'm not sure which would be more practical for me.. I love modding my cars so either car i'm getting is going to get modded out.

You could probably get the Extreme to the point where it's faster than the Si in a straight line, but don't expect your Extreme to handle better than the Si in the corners and twisties. I'd go for the Si as the better all around car. If you literally want to do straightline stuff all the time, go for the Extreme.

Obviously it's up to you? The Si obviously gets better milage, but the truck can haul stuff...i imagine the civic is more fun and has better reliability...

i've had hondas in the past, the last civic i had it was up 200,000 miles before i sold it and it was still running awesome. I don't think i can get that from a chevy. I think overall the truck isn't as reliable as the civic is.

extreme is 2wd only........i use to sell for chevy....the colorado is a 5 cyl. and then theres a 4 cyl....as much as i gotta say that i support domestics, but own a honda, i feel the colorado is not reliable like the civic. I admit they look sweet but talk about cheap interior!

colorado extreme
220 hp overpriced imo shity gas mileage
looks hot shitty warranty loses resale value quick
cheaper insurance its a chevy

after working at chevy, the only truck i would buy or suggest is a silverado, most reliable and they really do a good job with them. the colorado is not a concern for chevy, cuz they dont sell like the silverados

Civic SI
197 hp insurance may be a lil higher
looks hotter keeps resale value better than colorado
way better interior
its a HONDA
better gas mileage
decent warranty
Def faster

it's up to u, but i would never buy another chevy, thats what my experince at the dealership taught me

From: http://www.internetautoguide.com/rev...006/index.html

...the five-cylinder engine with 2WD and manual transmission earns an EPA rating of 19/25 mpg (or 18/23 mpg with automatic)... and I guess less in 4WD.

With gas at $3.00 a gallon, I know I was torn between a Civic and an H3...
