hey fellas... >B^)
new to the forum, just wanted to say :
some very entertaining stories reading here. anyway, i'll be potentially getting a si in a couple of months. depending on down payment, interest rate, insurance, and all that nonsense. i have a question though. if i were to get the si, how often you'd think i would get hassled to street race? i mean, im a pretty mellow guy at 26. alot more mature than when i was 17-21. i dont wanna get called out every week or anything like that. i just want a fun, affordable and sporty car that gives good gas mileage. btw, i live in queens and commute to work in westchester county (NY). sometimes i see racers and ricers. i had actually street raced a little when i was 17 "being a stupid sh.i.t kid", with a 1997 benz E420; company car for the family. against z3 roadster to cameros to hondas. i will not risk my life or my friends again going at 137 miles. just not worth it... i guess its part of the territory huh guys? wont help the situation if i want the (trenz bodykit) either lol . i guess i just have to bite my tongue and take it in this ass if i get called out. anyways, your experience and comments would be appreicated. thanks guys. sorry for the long post!Last edited by civic_ROOKIE; 05-27-2006 at 01:39 AM. |

thanks guys..
and thanks to the gals too... cant forget about them. without them, there wouldnt be any people in the first place. lol. i'll try to be optimistic about the whole "getting called out" scenario. on a related note, this is for the people who were called out to race, but chose not to do so. how do you override your primitive behavior/instinct to challenge.. and instead be intelligent about it and just shrug it off?
for me, i get into road rage at moderate escalation and at times, its hard to control. new to NY counties; driving takes on a whole new meaning here. as in offensive combat driving . lolLast edited by civic_ROOKIE; 05-27-2006 at 01:49 AM. |
