Scion TC Help
I have a co-worker that is having an odd issue with his 2005 scion TC. Under acceleration in 1st or 2nd gear, it feels like the engine is lurching around. The tach doesn't jump and it doesn't sound like the engine isn't running right or anything. Actually, there is NO noise associated with it. I don't think it is clutch slippage since the rpm's don't jump at all. My guess is a bad motor mount, but I'm no mechanic. Anyone hear have any ideas? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the help guys. On the advise of another co-worker, we went out and I had him load the engine with the e-brake on while I watched with the hood up. The engine was definitely moving too much. After looking it over more closely, we found the front motor mount bolts that attach it to the block were missing!
Anyhow, it looks like an easy fix for him. I told him to get an Si in the first place, live and learn... Again, thanks for the quick responses.
