My dad's considering a semi-cheap weekend/fun car..

what do you guys think about these two? they're local so there wouldnt be any big hassle with trying to ship..

eBay Motors: Ford : Mustang (item 110213566527 end time Feb-01-08 14:47:56 PST)

eBay Motors: Chevrolet : Camaro (item 110217800315 end time Feb-13-08 16:00:47 PST)

there's those two and he also really likes the newest body style of Trans Am.. he came close to getting a Firebird Formula and regrets not picking it up as cheap as it was

I am indifferent by both of those cars. S2000 would be the "semi-cheap weekend/fun car" for me. They are going for under $18K on the used market these days.

a used C5 corvette is the best value you could get... much stronger engine, much better handling, 20 years newer etc.

unless he wants the retro look... but a 2002/2003 corvette convertible is a beautiful car and an amazing value
