Hopefully they'll upgrade the interior build quality. Rattle city.

But option wise, I'd love to see a JDM front end (it looks so awesome) on the coupes, at least, and a leather option for the Si. I'm sick of the wear prone alcantara.

2009 HONDA CIVIC CONCEPT - AutoSpies Auto News
that concept is from 3 years ago.
First autospies claimed it was the new tsx, then the new accord, now the new civic?

I doubt Honda would make the MMC sedan have a JDM front end. Why? Because they sell the CSX in Canada. Unless they also revised the CSX front end at the same time, the chances of the regular Civic getting a JDM revision are slim.

It will be like I first stated , updated headlights , tailights , bumper. But you never know what else might be introduced. Sometimes Honda does silly stuff.

As for the source its a Rep @ Honda. I probe him normally everytime I meet with him which is about once to twice per month. So if anyone has any questions let me know.

He also said there will be a new vehicle that will fit inbetween the CR-V and Pilot. As well there will be a diesel version honda coming to america , but under the Acura badge first.

As well the Fit for 09 will be completely new. And in 2010 , the CR-Z concept will come to life!

Also hopefully they dont go too crazy. Either way im sure we can easily swap over to the new pieces if need be. Ill certainly be looking to do this if they look pleasing and projectors would be awesome.

My guess is we will be able to swap the headlights in. As for tailights they might need a new trunk lid. Kinda like the 94-95 accord to 96.

And they will change up the bumper Im guessing as well. It should look more pleasing , honda always makes their refreshes look better.

But yeah this is 100% for sure!

Also he said no type-r for america...

"Hey look Mike it's an 8th gen Si"

"Hey, I remember when those were cool.... One generation ago."

O well... It was going to happen sooner or later.

At least I can still bask in the glory of my newest generation civic for one more year....

That's 8 to me... and none of them in Indiana... so if Honda opens an Indiana plant, it would be their 9th manufacturing facility in the US.

'09 Refresh?

Jeez, kinda wish I went with my earlier thoughts about waiting another year right before I pick up my '08 Si.
