I dunno, seems like a pretty good engineering solution to me. It'd be a little more elegant if he could hide the generator in the trunk and have it vented, but you've gotta admire the innovative thinking.

Looks like he has more add ons than what the car is worth. And that is a car that you should definitely have "Honk if anything falls off" sticker! lol
