here's a direct quote from EPHatch which is where i found the thread originally.... i cannot believe it!!
![]() Quote:
![]() just figured i'd share. searched & found nothing related. so if repost, i apologize in advance. help keep our 999 OTHER Mugen Si's safe here in the U.S.!! ![]() now then, the REAL question is... if the Mugen parts are as restricted as Honda is trying to make them out to be, wouldn't a shift knob, mugen si emblems, seats (ehh maybe not cuz they are exactly like Si seats ) front lip, & wheels sorta stick out when the jackasses tried to resale them?? you would think so but you never really know.this is a DAMN good reason for dealers to get their Mugen's in & IMMEDIATELY PDI them, detail them, & slap those b!tches in their showroom ASAP!!!!! *whew* i need to calm down. theft angers me so much!! ![]() discuss.

I freaking HATE thieves! Of course, we all knew this was coming. I would rather that happen to the dealer, rather than a buyer. The car didn't even have wheel locks for christ's sake! Just look for the douchebag riding around town with Mugen GP's, a Mugen seat, shift knob, emblems, and placard. What a cheap loser, that obviously has no work ethic, values, or morals. Karma is a ***** though. He'll figure it out soon enough.

it's the dealer fault, i don't blame the thieves because they are thieves, but the dealer should've kept it in the showroom, not out on the lots. btw, is the front lips missing on the 1st pic? just wondering.

another sign it def had not been PDI'd yet. when the cars come in (specifically civics, accords, ridgelines to name a certain few) they dont read correctly on the RPM gauge. once the car gets PDI'd & the fuses & whatnot are installed that are sitting in the glovebox upon arrival, everything functions normally within the car.
good question. most ppl dont know that unless they work or have worked @ a Honda dealer. first new car delivery when i started about a year ago, i thought the damn car was broken LOL!! ![]() Quote:

please guys/gals if you have a MUGEN GET AN ALARM i would hate this to happen to actual owners who forked out lots of hard earned money for a limited edition... also this goes to ALL drivers! DONT LET PEOPLE KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE if you dont know the people dont let them know where you live... when you go to meets make sure no one follows you etc...its a messed up world and you have to be careful and i honestly see Si's becoming the next "integras" if you know what i mean... weve already had 2 thefts that ive seen on the site so it def can be done
yeah and the dealer messed up on this one UUMM WHEEL LOCKS!! come on the wheel locks would have helped them save the wheels which im sure was one of the biggest reasons why the car got hit seeing as they are very valuable and lets say they hit th car anyways well the wheels would still be there and the whole car would not have suffered the damage caused by sitting on its face btw 20 people viewing this thread!!! EDIT SOLO8th already pointed that out!! Last edited by D1BSI; 11-11-2007 at 12:41 PM. |

lol no worries.. but ill see your 20 & raise you 28 currently. ![]() btw, does any1 know what # of 1000 this Mugen is. dont want to hear that someone bought THIS Mugen Si as a theft recovery vehicle if it comes to that & still possibly might have paid FULL price. that would be tragic.
