$500 to spend, what should I get?

I've got a 2006 EX Sedan 5AT w/ Navi

so far I've got Lamin-X smoked tails and a chrome exhaust finisher.

Soon I'll have about $500 to spend, what should I get?
I definately want to get my windows tinted.

Anybody got any reccomendations on what else I should get?

Hmm.
Well how much would window tinting be? On my last car, 04' Si it was $130, would it be about the same?

That'd leave me with about $370 to spend.

tint will probably be the same cost as your last car. Most members have paid about that much for their cars.

Yeah, the tint job should be about the same. What kind of stuff are you into? Do you want performance? Looks?

$370 wouldn't even make a dent in tuition.

My advice to the OP would be to put some HIDs in, those always class up the car IMO.

Sounds good.

I'd kinda like to get a decklip spoiler or something though, something to set the car apart from the other ones on the road.

I dont really want any performance, maybe an intake eventually, if some more company's release some with better performance or cheaper pricing.

Also, I cant decide if I should just take the cash and put it towards some lightweight wheels and tires. Some Gram Lights 57S maybe? What kind of performance increase would I feel from these lighter wheels?

But it'd buy me books.

I say go for tints since that's what you really want.

Window tint most likely.

Maybe a drop-in K&N filter, for a little performance boost.

After reading a similar post about where and how to spend money, I'd say get the tint done if you want and put the rest into a savings account and let it sit there until you decide what you want to do with it. Just because you have the money doesn't mean you need to spend it right away. Save it, gain 25 cents interest and spend it on something later.

Just a thought.

How about giving it to me? I could use it to pay my next car note.

invest it in a savings CD account, interest rates will be over 5% soon drop it in and forget about it...i put 5k in one and i get over $100 every 3-months. it's a good idea with rising prices these days
