Jealous RSX owner

So I recently purchased the Si, (3 days ago) and my father has been wanting to see it. He drives an RSX (not type-s) and he seemed pretty speechless when he first saw the Si. From exterior looks alone he thought it "looks 10X better than my car". He hasn't taken it for a spin yet, but he will soon enough. He was pretty jealous (but happy for me), and I bet many other RSX owners cringe when they see the Si driving by.

Why would we cringe? because you have an LSD? Whenever I see a new Si, i give them the BOV salute. Dont get me wrong, I like the new Si (especially for the price), but dont start thinking you have the pimpest car on the road cause my RSX-s would eat your Si up in a second.

Is your RSX stock or modded? Stock RSX Type S vs. Stock Si are essentially the same performance wise!

Um...dunno if you know this, but not all owners judge vehicles by how they'd "eat up" another vehicle. I don't live my life at the top end of the powerband...:rolleyes: Besides, you're on a Civic site...WTH were you expecting?

haha, relax, its more for the money in my opinion. And like I stated, he preferred the looks over his RSX. Also like I stated, he hasn't driven it yet, but it doesn't matter because he doesn't have a type-s. To top it off, I never said anything about having "the pimpest car on the road". And when I said cringe I only said it because in my opinion, when I purchase something, and soon after a similar item comes out, which is maybe slightly different, but cheaper, I dont like it.

i still like the interior of the RSX, especially the leather seats....mmmmmm, and the red guages (sp?) at night

and smokey is just PMSing cuz he didnt get his bong hit in yet hehe

Yea, I don't see why people argue about the Rsx and Civic. I guess its like two brothers, because there the same car!

The post was never meant to start an argument. Just stating that my father enjoyed looking at the Si. Smokey obviously took it the wrong way.

Im not trying to argue, nor am I PMsing. Im just sick of reading about people saying RSX owners hate on civic owners. Im not trying to "hate" on you. Like I said I personally like the Si, and would kill to have an LSD. I know im on a Civic site, and im far from a Civic hater. I have been defending civic since the slow and the curious came out. I didn't mean for my post to come off as being arrogant or anything.

I'll play devil's advocate and say that if I had enough money, I would've chosen the RSX over the Civic

I've loved the car ever since it first came out and plus it's an Acura
